Isatu Timbo, Honorary Consul for Sierra Leone, visited Direct Relief’s headquarters on November 18th, 2021 to view Direct Relief’s emergency shipment of critical medical supplies in response to the deadly oil tanker explosion outside of Freetown on Friday, November 5th. In coordination with Sierra Leone’s Ministry of Health, the 20-pallet shipment will be routed to Sierra Leone’s main referral hospital, Connaught Hospital. (Maeve O’Connor/Direct Relief)
